3. Nature of the offer
This Agreement constitutes an offer to enter into a distance sales contract where such a form of offer is recognized by applicable law.
Product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information published on the Website form part of the offer, subject to availability, verification and the terms of this Agreement.
The Seller may update, correct or withdraw this offer at any time before an Order has been accepted. Such changes do not affect Orders already accepted by the Seller, except where required by law or agreed with the Customer.

- The Customer accepts this Agreement and the policies incorporated into it;
- The Product may be lawfully purchased, delivered and imported into the selected destination.
5. Eligibility to purchase
Customers must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who is legally authorized to enter into this Agreement.
If an Order is placed on behalf of a company or another person, the Customer confirms that they have authority to act on behalf of that person or entity.
Maison Mave may refuse or cancel an Order where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the Customer lacks legal capacity, has provided false information or is attempting to use the Website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
6. Product information
Maison Mave makes reasonable efforts to ensure that Product names, descriptions, materials, dimensions, colors, photographs and prices are accurate.
However, the actual appearance of a Product may vary slightly because of:
- Differences in screen settings and color reproduction;
- Lighting and photography conditions;
- The handcrafted nature of the Product;
- Natural variations in leather grain, scales, texture, markings and color;
- Minor changes made to improve construction, durability or finishing.
Such natural or minor variations do not normally constitute a defect, provided that the Product remains consistent with its essential description and intended purpose.
7. Exotic leather products
Some Maison Mave Products are made from exotic leather and may be subject to wildlife-trade, import, export, customs or documentation requirements.
The availability of an exotic leather Product may depend on:
- The Customer’s delivery destination;
- Applicable import and export regulations;
- The availability of required certificates or permits;
- Restrictions imposed by customs authorities or delivery providers.
The Customer is responsible for verifying that the selected Product may be lawfully imported, possessed and used in the destination country.
If delivery is not legally or practically possible, Maison Mave may cancel the Order and refund the amount received for the affected Product.
8. Product availability
All Orders are subject to Product availability. Adding a Product to the cart does not reserve it.
If a Product becomes unavailable after an Order has been submitted, Maison Mave may:
- Offer a suitable replacement;
- Provide an updated production or delivery estimate;
- Remove the unavailable Product from the Order;
- Cancel the affected Order and issue a refund.
No replacement will be supplied without the Customer’s agreement.
9. Prices
Product prices are displayed on the Website in the currency indicated on the Product page or during checkout.
The final amount payable may include:
- The Product price;
- Delivery charges;
- Applicable taxes;
- Optional services selected by the Customer;
- Other charges clearly disclosed before payment.
For international Orders, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and other destination charges may be collected separately by customs authorities, delivery providers or other third parties.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise during checkout, such international charges are not included in the Product price and are the Customer’s responsibility.
10. Pricing and information errors
Maison Mave may correct obvious typographical, technical, pricing or Product information errors before accepting an Order.
If an obvious error is discovered after an Order has been placed, we will notify the Customer and offer the option to:
- Confirm the Order using the corrected information or price; or
- Cancel the Order and receive a refund of the amount paid.
Maison Mave is not required to supply a Product at an obviously incorrect price where the error could reasonably have been recognized by the Customer.
11. Order placement
To place an Order, the Customer must:
- Select the desired Product and available options;
- Add the Product to the shopping cart;
- Provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information;
- Select an available delivery method;

12. Order confirmation and acceptance
After an Order is submitted, the Customer may receive an automatic email confirming that the Order has been received.
An automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that the Order has been finally accepted.
The sales contract is considered concluded when Maison Mave has:
- Successfully verified or received payment;
- Confirmed Product availability;
- Accepted the Order for processing or dispatch.
Maison Mave may contact the Customer if additional information or verification is required.
13. Right to refuse or cancel an Order
Before dispatch or commencement of custom production, Maison Mave may refuse or cancel an Order if:
- The Product is unavailable;
- Payment cannot be authorized or verified;
- The Customer provides incomplete or inaccurate information;
- The delivery destination is unavailable or restricted;
- Required customs or wildlife-trade documentation cannot be obtained;
- An obvious pricing or Product information error has occurred;
- The Order is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent, unlawful or intended for unauthorized resale;
- Completing the Order would violate applicable law, sanctions or regulatory requirements.
If Maison Mave cancels a paid Order, the applicable amount will be returned to the original payment method, unless another lawful method is agreed with the Customer.
14. Payment
The Customer must pay the full Order amount using one of the payment methods displayed during checkout.
Available payment methods may vary depending on the Customer’s location, currency, device and payment provider.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Maison Mave does not directly store complete payment card details.
The Customer confirms that:
- The selected payment method belongs to the Customer or is being used with lawful authorization;
- The payment information is accurate;
- Sufficient funds or credit are available;
- The transaction does not violate any law or third-party rights.
Additional payment verification may be requested for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
15. Currency conversion
If the Customer’s payment account uses a currency different from the Order currency, the bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate and conversion fee.
Currency conversion charges and international transaction fees are determined by the Customer’s financial institution and are not controlled or refunded by Maison Mave.
16. Delivery
Delivery conditions, estimated processing periods, available destinations and delivery charges are governed by the Maison Mave Delivery & Payment Policy:
https://maisonmave.com/delivery-and-payment/
The Customer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, recipient name, telephone number and any information required by the delivery provider or customs authorities.
Estimated delivery periods are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs procedures, carrier delays, weather, holidays, documentation requirements or circumstances beyond the Seller’s reasonable control.
17. Transfer of risk
Risk of accidental loss or damage transfers in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Where permitted by law, risk transfers to the Customer when the Product is delivered to the Customer, the designated recipient or another person authorized to receive it.
If the Customer independently appoints a delivery provider not offered by Maison Mave, risk may transfer when the Product is handed to that delivery provider, where permitted by applicable law.
18. Inspection after delivery
The Customer should inspect the Product and packaging promptly after delivery.
If a Product appears damaged, defective, incomplete or different from the Product ordered, the Customer should contact Maison Mave as soon as possible at info@maisonmave.com.

- The Order number;
- Photographs of the Product;
- Photographs of the packaging and shipping label;
- A description of the issue;
- Any information reasonably required for a carrier or insurance claim.
19. Returns, exchanges and refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by the Maison Mave Return Policy:
https://maisonmave.com/return-policy/
Products must not be returned without prior authorization and return instructions from Maison Mave.
Personalized, monogrammed, custom-made or made-to-order Products may be excluded from cancellation or return where permitted by applicable law.
20. Order changes and cancellation by the Customer
The Customer may request an Order change or cancellation by contacting info@maisonmave.com as soon as possible.
Maison Mave will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, but changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed after:
- The Order has entered processing;
- The Product has been dispatched;
- Custom or personalized production has begun;
- Required documentation has been issued;
- Costs have already been incurred specifically for the Order.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory cancellation rights available to Consumers under applicable law.
21. Product care
The Customer is responsible for following the care instructions supplied with the Product or published on the Website.
Damage caused by improper use, storage, cleaning, exposure to moisture, heat, chemicals, oils, perfumes, abrasive surfaces or unauthorized repair is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Customers may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell or commercially exploit Website content without prior written permission.
Purchasing a Product does not transfer any intellectual property rights relating to the Product design, brand or Website content.
23. Prohibited use and resale
The Customer must not use the Website or purchase Products for fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
Maison Mave may limit quantities or refuse Orders that reasonably appear to be intended for unauthorized commercial resale, circumvention of territorial restrictions or violation of applicable trade regulations.
24. Limitation of liability

The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute through direct communication and good-faith negotiation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be submitted to the courts or dispute-resolution authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.
30. Consumer rights
This Agreement does not exclude, restrict or replace any mandatory rights granted to Consumers by applicable law.
If any term of this Agreement conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law, the mandatory legal provision will apply to the extent of that conflict.
31. Amendments to the Agreement
Maison Mave may update this Agreement to reflect changes in business operations, payment methods, delivery conditions, legal requirements or Website functionality.
The version applicable to an Order is the version published on the Website when the Order is placed, unless otherwise required by law.
32. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable while preserving its intended purpose where possible.
